What is Study Hall?
At Learn and Grow with Angela, study halls are an essential part of our educational approach. Each study hall lasts for one hour, with the first half dedicated to a planned activity designed to reinforce the learning students have been doing in their regular lessons. These activities are not only educational but also engaging and fun, aiming to keep students motivated while strengthening their skills in reading, writing, and math. Activities like storytime, math drills, and writing exercises are just a few examples of what students can expect during this part of the session. The goal is to create a structured and enjoyable environment that helps solidify the concepts they are learning.
The second half of the study hall focuses on providing students with extra help. This time is especially valuable for students who may need additional support or have questions about any material they’ve covered. Whether it’s a specific math problem, a writing assignment, or reading comprehension issues, students can ask questions, get clarifications, and receive personalized attention from teachers or teacher aides. This support ensures that no child feels left behind and that they receive the guidance they need to move forward with confidence.
