Welcome to Learn and Grow with Angela. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online tutoring services, and related platforms provided by Learn and Grow with Angela (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please review them carefully.

1. Overview

Learn and Grow with Angela is a virtual tutoring academy located in Henderson, Nevada. We provide personalized academic tutoring in reading and math for preschool through 5th grade students, as well as basic reading and math support for special needs students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our mission is to partner with parents and students to help each child achieve their maximum academic potential.

2. Eligibility

Our tutoring services are available to students from preschool through 5th grade and special needs students from grades K-12. All students under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian register for our services, and parents or guardians must act as the primary point of contact.

3. Registration and Account Security

• Parents/guardians must provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information.
• Families must maintain the confidentiality and security of login credentials.
  
• Parents/guardians must immediately report any unauthorized access to accounts.
  

4. Tutoring Sessions

4.1 Scheduling

• One-on-one tutoring sessions are 30 minutes in duration and scheduled monthly.
  
• If a student arrives more than 5 minutes late without prior notice, the session will be canceled and marked as attended.
  
• Small-group sessions are scheduled in advance, cannot be rescheduled, and are recorded for later student review.
  

4.2 Missed Sessions

• One-on-one sessions missed without at least 24 hours prior notice cannot be rescheduled and are non-refundable.
  
• Sessions missed with proper notification may be rescheduled upon mutual agreement between the tutor and parent.
  

4.3 Educator Lateness

• If an educator is more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled one-on-one session without prior verbal communication to the parent, the student may complete the remaining session time with another Learn and Grow with Angela educator. Additionally, the student will receive one extra 30-minute session at no charge.
• If an educator is late for a scheduled small-group instruction session without at least 24 hours prior notice, another Learn and Grow with Angela educator will teach for the remainder of the class. Students affected will also be provided with an additional small-group session scheduled at the educator’s discretion.
  

5. Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and productive online learning environment. Parents and students must adhere to our Code of Conduct.

5.1 General Expectations

• Be punctual and prepared for all sessions.
  
• Maintain respectful interactions with teachers, classmates, and staff.
  
• Follow all classroom rules established by teachers and administrators.
  

5.2 Prohibited Behaviors

Behavioral infractions are categorized into four severity levels with corresponding consequences:

Level 1 (Minor Infractions)

• Failing to follow directions or repeated off-task behavior.
  
• Accidental inappropriate language.
  
• Consequences: Verbal warning and parent notification if behavior continues.
  

Level 2 (Moderate Infractions)

• Refusal to participate in activities.
  
• Consistently ignoring teacher instructions.
  
• Sharing inappropriate content or jokes.
  
• Leaving sessions without permission.
  
• Consequences: Temporary muting, parent-teacher conference, potential short-term suspension.
  

Level 3 (Serious Infractions)

• Bullying, teasing, or harassment.
  
• Sharing offensive or explicit material.
  
• Threatening behavior.
  
• Consequences: Muted during sessions, administrative review, mandatory parent-teacher conference before returning.
  

Level 4 (Severe Infractions)

• Verbal or written physical threats or acts of violence.
  
• Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.
  
• Attempting to breach security or hack accounts.
  
• Consequences: Immediate administrative hearing, possible suspension or permanent expulsion without refund.
  

Repeated infractions at Levels 3 or 4 will lead to immediate expulsion without refund.

6. Fees and Payment

• Tuition fees are due upon enrollment.
  
• Prices exclude federal, state, or local taxes, which are payable at enrollment.
  
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
  

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, session recordings, and resources provided by Learn and Grow with Angela are legally protected and exclusively owned by us. Materials may only be used for personal academic development. Unauthorized distribution, copying, or modification without written consent may result in termination and legal action.

8. Privacy Policy

Your usage of our services signifies acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle personal information and is incorporated by reference.

9. Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising from these Terms must be settled through binding arbitration in Henderson, Nevada. You waive your right to jury trials and class-action lawsuits. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Losses or damages from technical difficulties, internet disruptions, or user errors.
  
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  
• Liability exceeding the total amount paid for the disputed service.
  

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Learn and Grow with Angela and its affiliates, employees, and contractors against any claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your or your child’s breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, cyber-attacks, pandemics, or governmental actions.

13. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service access due to violations of these Terms or disruptive behavior as described in Section 5.2. No refunds will be provided in these cases.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Nevada state law.
